Hi,
I am new to Avast, but decided to try it as my computer has been acting strange lately. I have a MacBook Pro 17 2.4 GHz i7 with 8 GB of RAM, the late 2011 model. I am running OS X 10.7.5, and it won’t let me install Avast. I installed it on an external bootable drive with the same OS on it, and ran a scan on the drive from which I’m getting errors. It says I have 12 infected files, and over 160 unable to be scanned. I cleared the infected files, reboot and still can’t install. I go back to the bootable drive, and run scan again, same results. Any help that can be offered is greatly appreciated!
