I’m running XP SP3 with Outlook Express and the Free Avast (very recently upgraded). Each time I open Outlook Express I get the message “The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that could not be verified. A required certificate is not within its validity period when verifying against the current system clock or the timestamp in the signed file. Do you want to continue using this server Yes/No”. Avast previously gave me a message to the effect that my system clock was incorrect and I reset the clock to nisi.gov although it was already showing the correct time. The only way I can stop this message appearing is by turning the Mail Shield off - not desirable. This has only started happening after the recent Avast upgrade - what’s the fix? Thanks in advance.
Export avast’s certificate and import it into OE or in the windows certificate store.

That seems to have done the trick - thanks.
You’re welcome.
