Is it somehow just on my end or is MajorGeeks stuck at May 6th?
Works fine for me
Working fine for me also.
Here too. May 12, 2014
Refresh your browser.
What the … Ummm, blazes!!! ;D
I mean, that fixed the problem, but the question arises … WHY did it happen? It’s never happened before. I always just check MajorGeeks and FileHippo everyday to see what Updates might be available for the Apps that I use. And both websites are always up to date. So, what the heck happened in this case?
Could it have something to do with the Opera 20.0.1387.91 that I’ve started using in recent times? Is there a setting that needs to be changed or something?
Try setting cookies and website data to be deleted when closing the browser.
Unfortunately with my Dial Up, that wouldn’t be an ideal / efficient choice for me.
Having to load everything into the cache all the time every time I brought Opera back up would make me go berserk.
I will though later today clear the Private Data and the Cache to start from scratch and monitor things to see if it happens again.
There is a newer version of Opera: 12.17 build: 1863
While it is very highly-touted and loved by its Fans, for some reason the Opera 12.xx series just doesn’t quite click on my system. In fact, after experimenting with the Opera 12.xx series, for MY system’s purposes, I liked Opera 11.64 better over Opera 12.xx.
I then just up and decided to give Opera 20.0.1387.91 a try and lo & behold, it made a HUGE difference on Vivaldi.net like I had never seen any Browser make a difference on ANY site. Plus, using Opera 20.0.1387.91 also got rid of the constant, annoying errors I was encountering on BlogSpot and WordPress with Opera 12.xx and below.
I never thought I’d find myself using this Chromium-based Opera because … well, because it is a relative of Chrome. :o ;D
But, when something works, we go with it.
Anyway, hopefully that MajorGeeks getting stuck at May 6th was just some sort of glitch and won’t happen again.
