Malicious Trojan disguises as Google Toolbar

Hi malware fighters,

Later during yesterday an email began circulating claiming to hold the latest version of Google Toolbar, those people that opened it were taken to an exact copy of the Google download site where you then downloaded a trojan in stead of the Google Toolbar.

As long as there are people who have to click on any link they see or is sent to them,
this kind trickery will always succeed regardless of how it’s disguised. >:(

Beware of Greeks bearing gifts ;D
Seriously don’t accept any unsolicited gift (google tool bar or otherwise) and certainly don’t use a link on the email to go and check it out. If your that curious visit the domain URL type it in yourself and use either DrWeb or siteadvisor to check it out first.

I agree with all of you, I think that anyone who wants the Google toolbar should download it from the Google site. Any other site advertising the toolbar could contain things like this.
