Malicious URL Blocked Message

Hi,
I keep getting a “Threat detected Message” regarding a malicious URL. The message pops up continuously when I navigate to different websites or open new tabs, while using either Chrome, or Explorer.
When you click more details, a new browser window opens target:

I have read some of Essexboy’s old posts and have used the TDSSKiller from Kapersky, but still the messages keep coming.
I have downloaded and run aswMBR.exe and saved the log it created.
Is this a Rootkit virus? And How do I kill it?
Thanks

welcome to the forum. someone will check that log and give you further instructions.

in the mean will do a scan with malwarebytes antimalware as a second opition.

download, install, update and do a scan. Don’t forget to remove what it finds. a system reboot might be needed.

good luck

Thanks for the link. I will give it a crack and see if it fixes the problem.
Most of the time the problem is finding software that is reliable.
Much appreciated.
