malware clean up

hi i have the avast services till november of this year and my avast occasionally catches vires, for a week now my computer randomly shuts down, this mourning it gave me a message about a trojan horse but did not remove anything, what is going on with my computer?

No idea at the moment

What was the message from Avast with regards to file name and location ?

Download aswMBR.exe ( 511KB ) to your desktop.

Double click the aswMBR.exe to run it

Click the “Scan” button to start scan

The fix should only take a very short time. When the fix is completed a message box will popup telling you that it is finished. Click the Ok button and Notepad will open with a log of actions taken during the fix. Post that information back here

Double Click mbam-setup.exe to install the application.
