Please make sure you include the combo fix log in your next reply as well as describe how your computer is running now

Did as instructed, and pretty much everything ran as you outlined. Run Fix on OTL scan (w/ pasted code) found and cured some virus. Computer rebooted auto and ran Quick Scan (log attchd). Downloaded ComboFix, disabled protection and Ran. Comp rebooted and finished (log attchd). Had the error you outlined, and rebooted again. All antivirus & antispyware apps started up and no issues so far.

Could you run as normal for the next day… I have just come across one where it will sit quiescent for a day and then restart. Now whether this was due to a missed removal on my part I cannot yet be sure

No problem. I will monitor for at least a day and post within a few days (whether issues occur or not) just to let you know how things are going.
