:frowning: this is very frustrating!

this stupid pop-up comes out when i click the manual update!

i saved it in D:/ and when i double click it. this comes out!

With Avast out-of-date, i wont be able to ensure that my computer is safe and secure!
Please help!

We will need more information to be able to help you:

  • Which OS are you using? Is it up to date?
  • What avast! version and VPS file (virus database) number?
  • Do you use a firewall? Which one?
  • Do you have any other antivirus installed in your system? Did you have in the past?
  • Any other security programs that could interfere?

Please, post the last 200-250 lines of avast log: C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\DATA\log\Setup.log

;DActually, i solved this by uninstalling it and reinstalling it. And running the File, I just want to reAssure a solution once this happens again. :-[

Windows XP Service Pack 3 (were not rich, we cant buy a new one)

- What avast! version and VPS file (virus database) number?

- Do you use a firewall? Which one?
No Other Firewall, just the present one in the Windows Security Center

- Do you have any other antivirus installed in your system? Did you have in the past?
Kaspersky Trial

- Any other security programs that could interfere?
Im sure none

Maybe, just delete KLIF.sys file.
