between me and you i have a pro on my laptop, but the on demand scanner is supergood, and while avast on access and threat fire running or comodo HIPS there is no need for mbam, and yes i start loving MBAM
I don’t like MBAM PRO and SAS PRO their shields don’t seem that effective
Most of the malwares are catched by avast.
Today I’ve been testing avast web and network shield they seem extremely effective
Can someone who uses MBAM resident protection with FIREFOX v.3.6 tell me if he gets those annoying IP warnings:

It comes with the IP Protection feature and it goes on each time you open a browsing page with Firefox. I would like to know if it’s linked to some extensions I’ve got. ???
No need to say they haven’t been able to find a clue on the MBAM-web forum!
Just tested it with FF in safe mode and there is no problem pop-ups so it must be some malicious extension downthere! 8)
I do not get the popup; I am running –
Adblock Plus, CacheViewer, DownloadHelper, FxIF, IE Tab, Image Zoom, Password Exporter, ScrapBook, SQLite Manager, Tab Mix Plus, WOT
my method at this point would be to disable the top half of your add-ons, restart Firefox. see if it persists, then keep dividing in half (or swapping) until you narrow it down.
It’s the extension “LINK EXTENT 1.0.7” that tries to connect to malicious russian sites. I’m uninstalling it. Can somebody (FANS of MBAM :)) kindly report this solution in their web forum as nobody knows there! (No problem with IE8 or Google Chrome Beta latest version here)
Thanks
P.S.: Thanks to Micky77 for the info, I saved 10 bucks, good software but good God I never catched anything with it while ON DEMAND. Anyways, I take this forum advises when they are good.
I don’t know, lots of ??? FP with the IP PROTECTION FEATURE or am I infected (and MBAM doesn’t detect it) or did I allow something with my COMODO FW I shouldn’t. No, I really think the feature gives too much FALSE POSITIVES but I don’t want to put it OFF.
I reported the thing in the FP section (forgot I was already a member of their forum). But as they say it may well be that in connecting in one web site Link extend has links that are say “malicious”. :
