I ran the suggested scan and the following file was found to be infected.
The only solution they suggest is to buy their produduct.
Here is the info on the infection, which Avast did not find, nor the virus cleaner when I ran them just before McAfee.:
D:\WINDOWS.0\system32\sysnw32.exe W32/Sdbot.worm.gen.j
What shall I do next?

I tried to find the file, but the search on XP did not find it…could it be hidden somwhere so I cannot find it?
Help…sorry for being an idiot!

Make sure you have enabled “show hidden and system files” when doing the search.

It could have been a temporary file. But to be on the safe site, I suggest you run a boottime scan and see if anything comes up.

I did as you said and the scan was thorough of everything on my PC. It came up with one infected file in Outlook Express in the deleted items.
I sent it to Avast, but the task was done with error…the info said it was too big.
I just hope this has done the job.
I have the Avast Email scanning but wonder if I need something else?
I have Spybot, Adaware SE, Spyware blaster , Prevx Home security, Sygate personal firewall, CW Shredder, so I do try to stay clean!
Any advice for me?
