This is probably a silly question but being a newbie I hope to be forgiven.
Why can`t I place my pin in the Member Map page without my screen freezing? Task Manager says “AOL not responding” and it immediately goes into its automatic reconnection routine.
It seems as if I have only to point my cursor at this map and my AOL connection to the net is cut off. What is it that I am doing wrong?
Yes, I am using the AOL browser. Most of the time it seems adequate enough for my purposes. Perhaps I should try another one to see if there is a major difference.
In any event, this particular problem seems to be present on only the avast! Member Map page though, of course, there could be problems elsewhere that I haven`t yet discovered. I have looked in Event Viewer to see if anything has been noted but without finding anything untoward.
I have run Spybot S&D, Superantispyware, and A-Squared to see if it might be anything related to spyware rather than virus but again, nothing has turned up. Maybe it`s just an AOL browser anomaly after all?
Then Geography isn’t your strong subject Susz ;D ;D
You should be able to change your pin, if you click the Member Map icon, there is a drop down list of locations, select the one for the UK that brings up a bigger map and you can position your map pin closer to where you actually live.
P.S. I can’t see any Flags as that functions doesn’t appear to be in the Babylon forum theme. But I really like the layout so can live without the flags.
