Dear customer,
If your device sends SMS without your consent, Anti-Theft somehow marked the device as “lost”.
This can happen by changing the SIM card with activated Anti-Theft or if a corresponing command was received.
You can stop the SMS by marking your “found”. The easiest way to do this is to dial your avast! PIN (4-6 digits, only numbers) like you would dial a phone number.
The call will be interrupted and the Anti-Theft interface will come up. By opening Anti-Theft your phone gets marked “found” and the currently inserted SIM card is beeing added to the list of trusted SIM cards.
If you forgot your avast! PIN you can reset by uninstalling all avast! apps. Here’s a how-to:
