Hi this is Michael Kossar. I am having a typical problem. I own a avast internet security 2014 version. It is treating my notepad files as a virus. As a result of this I have to disable the internet security for the time being. Please help…

can you tell us what you’re doing with Notepad? One, can create a trojan using Notepad, which Avast! does block actively. Are you saving it as a .txt file? Or something else (If so what)?

Even I have forgotten to tell that, it was also trating some of the folders as virus also :-[ Generally I save some important passwords on notepad.
