My computer has been acting real funny lately. The windows keep locking up on me and I can’t click In them or type in them or close them .so I find myself constantly hitting contrl alt delete and then closing that.
. Also my mouse behaves as if I’m clicking the center button and constantly auto scrolls. I’ve run Super Anti-Spyware, Malware Bytes and Avast and combofix. I can’t find the problem. Maybe if I post my highjack this log and combofix somebody might spot it.
Also Google Chrome acts up and opens multiple tabs on it own.
thankyou
just ran TredMicro housecall. it said “you’e good”
maybe i outghta get rid of that tool
How much RAM do you have on the system - and how much hard drive is free ?
Clear Cache/Temp Files
Download TFC by OldTimer to your desktop
[*] Please double-click TFC.exe to run it. (Note: If you are running on Vista, right-click on the file and choose Run As Administrator).
[*]It will close all programs when run, so make sure you have saved all your work before you begin.
[*]Click the Start button to begin the process. Depending on how often you clean temp files, execution time should be anywhere from a few seconds to a minute or two. Let it run uninterrupted to completion.
[*]Once it’s finished it should reboot your machine. If it does not, please manually reboot the machine yourself to ensure a complete clean.
THEN
Download and run Puran Disc Defragmenter
For the first run I would recommend boot defrag and disc check
i did that thanks… it seems to be running alittle better, but i still had to do the ctrl alt delete bit to get ccleaner to work. however i can click on the start from here without having to do the cntrl-alt-delete bit firsty. so that is good
apparently youtube isn’t the safest site. because that is about the only site i go to for entertainment
[*]Double click on the icon to run it. Make sure all other windows are closed and to let it run uninterrupted.
[*]Select All Users
[*]Under the Custom Scan box paste this in
hey thanks i’ll try that too, but now system is running fine. i did the puran-defrag more than once, seems much better. also ran psi which kept having me update java… i havent had to contr-alt-delete to get it working since the other day ;D
