Missing notifications from emails after installing Avast on my SGS2 mobile ...

After installing Avast Mobile Security on my Samsung Galaxy S2 (running Jellybean 4.1.1), I’ve noticed that my notifications for received emails is missing from the taskbar. Is there a way to get this back?

Ok, ignore this posting. For some reason, my sync was disabled, and after enabling it, the notifications was working again. So, everything seems to be working with Avast! Mobile Security.
