It’s been about 2 weeks since I’ve started force stopping, uninstalling, restarting, and reinstalling my app on my Google pixel 6. I’ve used it exclusively for its pop up blocking features but now even if it opens to the search page, it just minimizes/switches back to my phone’s app list.
I’m hopeful it’s an update issue with either my phone or AVAST as virus scans come up clean.
Anyone else having this issue or have more information?

I have the identical issue. Did you upgrade to Android 15 recently? I’m using a Motorola Edge 50 Pro, Android 15 and ASB V 8.1 (5190). The reason I ask is that I suspect Android 15 is causing the crash, although I’m not sure when when Avast updated because they don’t record both the install date and version in the About ASB section of settings. So in short it could V8.1 and not Android.
I recently updated to Android 15 and its been the only major change I’ve made. Ever since the upgrade ASB behaves in the same manner. Launches the home page, settings are active and can be modified, search works but try and access a URL it just collapses.
Like you I’ve done the usual troubleshooting procedures but still no joy. I suggest you use Chrome until Avast sort this mess out.
