Since the last update of avast premium, after few minutes of run of videos on youtube or some webpages the exe model_host.exe start to run taking between 15 and 50% of CPU, blocking the browser and other apps for many minutes. Also stopping the realtime scan of avast doesn’t stop the exe. only after closing the browser and waiting some minutes the program stop to occupy CPU. I tried already the repair but it doesn’t work.

Me too, I’m have this exact same issue. No matter which browser I use, youtube and others slow down to a halt and Model_host.exe runs with high cpu usage when it happens. It even causes the rest of the OS to slow down when it happens (e.g. explorer and other apps take longer to open)
