Monitor Pendrives connected to clients by ADNM

It is any possibility to monitor usb pendrives connected to clients on which avast is installed by ADNM ? I would like to know who connect pendrive and which data was copy to pendrive (log file).

I think it would be a useful option for companies in future versions of ADNM.Maybe the developers should be interested in such functionality.

Yes, you can see it in logs…In clients events, that disc E: or F: or G: was connected. On machine with one HDD divided into three logical partitions, with one DVD, disc G: is probably pendrive (or other drive-like device connected via USB)

It is not possible in see in Avast. You can switch on logging and see event logs, but… :frowning:

Yes I understand, but this is work for Data loss prevention programs, not for the only “antivirus software”. When Avast developers will change their software from antivirus to complete security and data loss protection programs, it would be useful feture… But I´m not sure, if thay plan to do it…

Yes but if ADNM is for Business every company has it’s own IT security policy for data leak and monitoring (usb). So if avast scan external discs it can also inform what type of files was write, copy etc.
Business requirements are not limited only to scan files by AV. Today’s requirements according to AV are more complex especially for business.

Kaspersky for business can do it and antivirus action can be configured by Kaspersky Administration Kit

Removable device control Computers can easily become infected through removable devices such as USB flash drives, data storage and I/O devices. Kaspersky Total Space Security enables you to control the use of these devices and prevent them from connecting to your corporate network.

I think that option would be very useful in ADNM too for my company
