Mozilla and Avast

Is there a way to insert the clean message into my outbound mail from Mozilla?
By the way, other than this minor question, I have been very satisfied with Avast

Dean

Dean, Iā€™ve heard from this beforeā€¦ I think you canā€™t because of the structure of the message receive by Mozilla. But Iā€™m not sure, maybe a search in the boardā€¦ ::slight_smile:

yes, you can ā€¦ canā€™t say where exactly (am at work without Avast) but it is configurable.

looks like this :

avast! Antivirus: Outbound message clean.
Virus Database (VPS): 0431-0, 26/07/2004
Tested on: 7/28/2004 12:23:52 PM
avast! - copyright (c) 2000-2004 ALWIL Software.

edit : using the Home Edition ā€¦

Yes you can add that msg to the mail, but I think you need Avast Pro for that.

I think I saw it explained earlier on this board. Have a search and see what comes up.

Too strange for meā€¦ This was not a difference between the two versionsā€¦ It should be indiferent ::slight_smile:

you can add the ā€˜cleanā€™ message in the Home edition :

rightclick Avast icon - On access protection control - Internet mail - customize - under IMAP, POP and SMTP thereā€™s a ā€œinsert note into clean messageā€ ā€¦

works great like my example above shows ā€¦
