thanks all

Hi Susz,

Why don’t you put what you need on a mem stick, plug it in and copy it where you want it to go.

pol

Don’t think you can with IE thought it installed straight away without saving

Hi Susz,

You can do it on a USB stick, mean to say install it there, and then copy it to its place inside windows.

Tried that Pol just kept getting error messages, this is driving me nuts!!!

Perhaps if you try in Safe Mode?

Also, this page may help …

Hi Susz,

Hi CharleyO, did you read my lips or my thoughts, beat me to it.
Let us just consider the solution for the error prompt. From what you exactly find there, look it up here:
http://www.techadvice.com/issues/how-to.asp?word1=mshtml&word2=mshtml
This is a survey for MS curriculum solutions for obsolete systems like ME etc.
With installing IE on a usb stick is to do that from an error free other computer, then plug it in the computer with the error and copy from the stick to windows via drag and drop via windows explorer. Furthermore, was there a restore point made on the ME beast before the errors started prompting? In that case go to safe mode and restore to the latest secure restore point, if you can remember it was there. Do you have SpywareBlaster there, does that have restores, or did they forget to do a system restore there. Do that next time, better safe then in this case sorry.

Thanks for the help, but had to take it to shop OS probs on it too, at least I don’t have to pay the bill
