 Hi Luke :

That email was NOT from your friend, but someone using
your friend's eamil address to fool you . In the future,
ALWAYS ask if they ACTUALLY sent it .
And when ALWAYS posting on a forum, mention the name
of your Operating System, because the recommended
 "solution" depends upon it .
I doubt you have a "virus"; probably something worse,
like a "Spam Bot"; what other security programs do you
 have on your computer ?

Window XP pro

i used avast it didnt find it i used Adaware SE after i updated it didnt find it

avast did call it a virus when it came up it gave me the option to close connection ( I think ) to the thing so i did but it didnt work :D. its not attacked me since i last restarted windows firewalled just didnt accept it. not gotten rid of tho hay?

Ta for the reply dude.

 Hi Luke :

Since you have now mentioned you have Win XP, I
  recommend you use "Ewido" from www.ewido.net/en ;
this good & FREE program "specializes" in detecting &
removing trojans, worms, generic dialers and what I
think you may have, namely a "Spam Bot" . There is a
  tutorial at : www.greyknight17.com/spy/Tutorials/ewidoQuickGuide.pdf .
