hi!
performing a quick look on my computer as I do quite often, I noticed this stange entry in registry, at HKCU/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Run:
name: msxmlwmGlade
type: REG_SZ
Value: rundll32.exe “C:\Users[user]\AppData\Local\msxmlwmGlade\msxmlwmGlade.dll”, DllInit
the dll really exists, in the location mentioned above. right-click/details isn’t helpful, except for date/time: last modified 24/01/2010 06:50
guess on sunday the 24th of january, I was in bed at that time!
I googled the file name, but nearly nothing appeared, only on prevx: http://www.prevx.com/filenames/X68998390354999265-X1/MSXMLWMGLADE.DLL.html
of course, I killed the rundll process, removed the registry entry, and renamed the folder. the computer is still running without any noticeable changes.
did anybody heard about this dll? seems that avast don’t know it…
NB: I am running Windows 7 ultimate 64bits with Avast 5 (both up to date)
