I have Windows XP MUI with 2 user accounts (German & Russian)
how can I save the Avast language settings for each account separate?
For user German - DE, for Russian - RU

I mean, in registry I need to change the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\AVAST Software\Avast
DataFolder = C:\Documents and Settings[b]All Users[/b]\Application Data\AVAST Software\Avast
to
DataFolder = %USERPROFILE%\Application Data\AVAST Software\Avast

but it doesn’t work

how can I solve my Problem?

Second user just have to switch to his language…

First user(DE)doesn’t understand Russian, and in German locale russian letters are unreadable(Avast is not Unicode), second user(RU) doesn’t understand German.

I have an idea
I try to change the key in avast5.ini with script in autostart for each user

That will not really work without disabling avast! self-protection (bad idea), plus what will happen when they are logged on both at the same time (fast user switching or remote desktop). I would suggest that users are not supposed to be messing with AV settings in the first place in environment like this, leave it for the admin (might even password-protect the GUI.)
