So I have multiple BSODs. Sometimes they occur after I shutdown the computer, and then boot it up. Then it goes through like 4 BSODs (and a Automatic Repair), then it finally lets up. The errors are UNEXPECTED_KERNAL_MODE_TRAP and UNEXPECTED_KERNAL_MODE_TRAP (aswNetHub.sys). I have now disabled the shields related to Network. It is so annoying, because sometime it will crash in the middle of usage. I also have the memory.dmp file for upload. I would very much appreciate if you released an update for this. ![]()
Hi, for potential help you need to provide more information.
You don’t mention what product/version of Avast you’re running, what OS you’re running, And if any other security software is installed on thie system other then Avast.
Edit
I am running Avast 20.4.2410 on Win 8.1 and don’t have any other anti-virus installed.
You can upload it here: ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming/
Pick a unique name (and post it here), so the devs can find it. Thanks
Okay, disabling the Web Shield didn’t stop the BSODs, although it still references to aswNetHub.sys. The file will be named aswNetHubKernalTrap.7z
Today, it didn’t BSOD right after signing in. Also, for some weird reason, Avast keeps telling me it updated when it already updated after I get past the BSODs.
Hi Star11, did you upload memory dump to the ftp://ftp.avast.com/incoming/?
Yes, I did, it was called aswNetHubsys.7z
Hello? Is the memory dump still being analyzed?
