I have a client with one Small Business Server, five workstations, and two Windows 2003 servers. I have just realized that the SBS Suite does not seem to cover the two additional servers, for which I may have to purchase additional licenses at about $325 per year. I'm not used to this sort of pricing. With Symantec and Trend Micro, a server is just another node-- it counts the same as a workstation for licensing purposes, and in fact the software is identical (no special "server" version). I'm going to look foolish when I tell my boss that I switched away from Symantec on these terms. Have I missed something?
You should contact sales(at) avast (dot (com) they often kniw the deals better than the users and you might be able to get a better deal with them
