my 1st day with avast

just like my ordinary day before going into debuging some progs … i open up my thunderbird and check 6 email accounts and just noticed its seems like my tray icons been locked … but “everyting” sure except for the tray icons is normally working …

i’d read in some post that i have to “manipulate” the avast.ini or the .ini file for setting up my thunderbird passing thru avast ??

winXP sp2 || tunderbird v0.8 || firefox v1 || avast Home 4.5

ps. plan to upgrad my t/b to version 1 but can i ask first wat to setup to make thinks normal

If you have the latest avast! programme build and defs, Try updating T/bird and let us know if you still have problems. They both work fine together on my machines.

ok t/b v1 installed :slight_smile: ill try to leave these two running hand-in-hand for the whole day … and be back for the results
