My application has virus...

Hello :wink:

I’m programmer, and, i’ve made a program with a installer.

And, i’ve made this installer in Smart Install Maker.

So, my program doesn’t have virus! Its a simple program to show the system time inside of the games with a event to make it be in front of all programmes.

The Avast is accusing my program like this virus: Win32:Trojan-gen {Other}

I wanna know: How to contact avast to withdraw this complaint.

Thanks.

And the virus isn’t my program, is the Smart Install Maker, because I’ve made a program without codes and it accused!

There’s an excluder for the detector. Right click on the avast icon, then select program settings and there’ll be something on the left that says exclusion.

Send the sample to virus@avast.com zipped and password protected with the password in email body, a link to this topic might help and false positive in the subject.

Or you can also add the file to the User Files (File, Add) section of the avast chest (if it isn’t already there) where it can do no harm and send it from there (select the file, right click, email to Alwil Software). No need to zip and PW protect when the sample is sent from chest. A copy of the file/s will remain in the original location, so any further action you take can remove that.

This is for on-demand scanning.

For the Standard Shield provider (on-access scanning):
Left click the ‘a’ blue icon, click on the provider icon at left and then Customize.
Go to Advanced tab and click on Add button…

You can use wildcards like * and ?.
But be careful, you should ‘exclude’ that many files that let your system in danger.

Sorry for the inconvenience, they usually correct false positives very soon.
