First off, I think it’s very strange that I can’t just email customer support at Avast so that I can get a direct answer to my question and immediate support. Especially since it looks like a lot of these forum topics are not checked/answered by the support team at Avast.
If there is a direct way to contact someone, please, someone let me know.
Anyhow, I got the email about my backup files being deleted from my Drive on the 19th (less than 2 days from now). I go to my Drive and open the Avast folder and… It’s empty. Where are my files? Who can I contact to find out what happened to them, before they are forever deleted?
