My Avast home free suddenly stop working or loading at start up “because the application configuration is incorrect”. I tried to download latest Avast version but get an error while “spawning”? Should I uninstall my Avast and try to download again? Thanks for helping.

Thanks. Uninstalled older version (not sure what happen to it or why it failed) and installed new.
Is everything working normally now? I noticed you were using a very old version of Avast; you may want to update your Signature in this forum to reflect the new version you just installed.
