my avast keeps getting disabled

whenever i open cabal online game and close it, my avast is disabled. dunno why. and currently i’m observing wether this also happen with other applications

Can you confirm? You’re saying the online game turns off your antivirus? What are the symptoms?

do you have latest version ? 5.1.864

have you tried avast repair ?

For a repair of avast. Windows, Add Remove programs, select ‘avast! Anti-Virus,’ click the Change/Remove button from the pop-up window, scroll down to Repair, click next and follow.

yes. i just reformatted my PC this morning. then i installed cabal online. but during cabal executing, i get some corrupt cabal files (due to wrong installation), and at the same time, avast got an “X” mark on it. then i have to click fix button to start it again.

Seems that your computer is infected.
Or some old antivirus (bad uninstalled) is crashing avast.

;( i can’t run warcraft too. i have a backup of it in my flashdrive so i copied it back to my PC. now it wont run. and at the same time, avast disabled. arrghhhh. anyway to revert back to previous version?
