My credit card can't be updated as the system tells me that there is a problem and I get no help from anyone

I have now tried for about 10 times over a two month period to change my credit card to continue with my subscription . Every time the system comes up with “there has been a glitch” and the support system is useless as I have had no help with this since October. I can’t work with a company that doesn’t care whether i am struggling to MAKE A PAYMENT. So, GOODBYE

My advice: use Paypal. You can link that to your credit card or bank account and it’s free, provided you use it once a year, and you have buyer protection.
I’ve been using it for years for international purchases. For renewing your Avast subscription it works perfectly, confirmation of renewal always within 1 minute.

Here we are 6 months later and I’m having exactly the same issues as user 694. Your suggestion of using Paypal sounds good. The only problem with this is that there is no way to change the payment method in the Avast dashboard. The links which supposedly provide this ability don’t work. I guess this company doesn’t need the business anymore.

I’ve just checked and learned that if you paid for a subscription by credit card you can’t change to Paypal. So I guess the only answer is to let the subscription run out and say goodbye.
