My recomendation link pointed to old version of avast free antivirus.
Why? Help me, please!

I would imagine that during installation, as you are required to be on-line (as this is a stub installer at around 6MB) it downloads and installs the latest version.

Not really sure why you are using the recommendation link as the old rewards program (for which this was used) is no longer active.
