Hi,

My site https://www.quantumachine.net is considered a threat and I don’t know why. Initially after doing some some googling I thought it was because my domain was parked in FreeDNS but I’ve moved to Zoneedit and the problem still occurs. I have reported this false positive dozens of times but no feedback at all.

Any info is welcome.

When you get the notification from Avast, there is a popup. in this popup there is a button to inform about “False positives”. You fill in the information (explanation,email) and it’s supposedly sent to Avast.

No, avast isn’t saying it is a threat.
It says URL:Mal which means that the IP and/or domain is blacklisted.

In the links you pasted I don’t see a compelling security threat for Avast to block the site or even warn about it.

I do not see anything malicious on that domain right now, so I am unblocking it :wink:

How long does the unblocking takes to kick in?
I tried last nigh (10 hours ago) and it was still being reported as URL:Mal .

Hi, could you try restarting your shields? Right click on Avast tray icon → Avast shields control → Disable for 10 minutes → Ok → Wait until shields are disabled → Right click on Avast tray icon → Avast shields control → Enable all shields

Maybe you could implement the SRI Attribute hashes, there are various free tools to do this.

Hi,

Thanks for the info.I didn’t know those scripts were unsafe. It is purely Octopress.

With regards to the shields, I’ll give it a try restarting them.
