My webpages are being flagged with a virus warning???

My webpages are being flagged by Avast with a virus warning, but after calling my hosting provider (domain.com), they have checked things on their end and found no viruses attached to my files.

I’m concerned this might be scaring potential customers away. Any suggestions? my site is www.needlemethat.com by the way.

Hi admin209,

You have to take that up with your hoster as the issue is with the abuse taking place from that same IP your domain is on.
Re: https://ransomwaretracker.abuse.ch/ip/66.96.149.1/
Also see recent reports of various IP abuse at Endurance International here: https://www.abuseipdb.com/check/66.96.149.1

You could ask an avast team member to come and exclude your domain of that general IP block, but that is for them to decide,
we here are just volunteers with relevant knowledge and can not unblock.

Hello,
I don’t see any alert from avast. Can you post a screenhsot of the alert window, please?

Thanks,
Milos

Hi Milos,

People should stop using sites like the above with embedded/hidden links like to -http://www.jdoqocy.com etc. which comes blocked for me, while mentioned link has a bad web rep. In this case: -http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-7501947-11785029 (line 227/228 in the source code of the weppage).

More important hostname wXw.ftjcfx.com in the following line is a sign of compromise, commonly used as a target for communicating with malware!
