Dear Sirs,

This free anti-virus deleted my torrent file with WHOLE torrent-pro. What for? It seems like a sabotage.
I needed to redownload the 600~mb file fast using torrent pro. So i started the download and nothing happened.

I can remember i added torrent pro to exceptions of avast(it is modified version of this software so problems have could appear)

And they appeared. I have now only 11 minutes to gat my software back with 4 minutes to redownload the archive and anylise the data.

Sounds like a cracked version. Besides that they are illegal, cracks are often detected as malicious and handled accordingly.

Although you can set a exclusion for a application, it doesn’t mean that what you download with the application isn’t scanned and it will be deleted (depends on your settings) if something malicious is detected.

No messages. Because I chose so called “In-game” option. Is there a version that asks me something before doing such a silly things? I think I failed my work for today. Bad luck for me.

You mean silly things like detecting malware. ;D

If you use gaming mode you may not see any message, check virus chest

Okay, but if i untick this mode - would it ask me for deleting?
I mean ask for delete, not detect.

If it is deleted or not depends on your settings and on what is detected.

So I cannot control my antivirus. Very bad. I do not need 1 more virus called “Avast antivirus”

Yes you can ... as said several times, the settings decide what actions avast take on detections

Ofcourse you can “control” avast and you already did by setting avast to gaming mode.
Only thing you need to do is learning what options avast gives you and set them to your likings.
If you don’t, don’t be surprised things don’t happen as you want/expect and this goes for all software (av and others).
