Just a query.
my youngest daughter has installed Myspace IM

Has anyone on the forum used it.
I also noticed that it isn’t listed in the IM plug in, so would the computer be protected against viruses etc, when in use.

Does it have a setting to configure the antivirus to scan downloaded files?
If so, set, as you know, C:\Program Files\Alwil Software\Avast4\ashQuick.exe as being the scanner.

I will check that next time my daughter uses it, as you need a login name from my space to use it, and i don’t have one.
Found out my daughter had it set to with remeber her password etc, i logged in and can not find anywhere to scan download files.
I noticed Standard Shield was montering as the file count went up.
Will still have to wait and see what happens when a instant message is sent.
