Need help for malware cleansing clkads.com adserve

Dear all,

I ahve tried several programs, including the full avast sofware package. So far, nothing has been able to detect and remove my problem.

This is how it manifest itself:

When using google crome browser, I have an annoying add in the facebook screen. In the blue topbar of facebook, just right to the middle, before my name, I see an interactice ad for tings I may have searched for. currently ads for cleansing PC’s, due to this problem.

The sourse code for the interactive ad, goes like this:

✓ Rens din pc (Gratis!) ✓

Does anyone know how to clean out this mess? It must be caused by some program somewhere… and I do not have the 00V00 toolbar related to AOL which has been suggested elsewhere…

Thanks in advance

Can you provide a picture?Facebook might responsible for this(installed apps) .

this is how it looks. - The strange spot just right to the search field.

I don’t think that facebook is responsible, because I dont have it when using Internet explorer or safari browsers.

thanks.
Flemming

Hello Guys,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

We are an Ad network. Publishers use our technology to serve ads on their sites (same as Adsense by Google).
CLKADS.com is our domain and is being used for serving ads only.

We terminated the publisher that was using our servers to display the ad you mentioned above.

From our investigation he was using a browser plugin to show his ads on FB using our servers.
This is against our TOS for publishers.

Again, thank you for bringing this to our attention.

@RevenueHits Support

Could you please inform if YOU have taken actual actions that may influence this? Thanks

@mikaelrask

Thank you very much for the malware guide. I will save that because I’m sure this will come in, handy, some day.

This is the current status:

So far, no programs were able to detect and clean this.

This night, I was uninstalling a lot of tools / scanners / anti malware programs that proved ineffective.

This morning when I started again, the problem was gone… This is why I would liketo know if RevenueHits Support did someshing from their end.

Thank you.

Best regards
Flemming
