HELP!
I just encountered the same problem that Jovy had with the “false positives” on:
virus: Win95:Matyas
c:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\pav.sig
virus: Win32:Kuang2
c:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ActiveScan\imscan.dll
virus: Win95:Matyas
c:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\ActiveScan\pav.sig
When they appeared during the scan, I had them put into the Virus Chest.
Are these safe to delete from the Chest or do I need to find some way to restore them?
Thanks for any help you might be able to give me!

Hopefully this should be help.
There is a large amount if information on the forums and it is all available to you using the search button at the top of each page.
A search on false positive returned 20 posts (including this one)
Hopefully you will only ever have to worry about false positives
Thanks for the help DavidR.
At this point my brain is tired…after reading the information in the thread you so kindly posted, am I correct in thinking that it is ok to delete those 3 files and not worry about them anymore??
Sorry to be so dense today. I’m not always this way!!
Thanks again!
Those are files from Panda On-Line antivirus,so you can safely delete them
Thanks, RejZoR! I really appreciate the fast reply!
