Need some deeper assistance removing 80000000.@

Hello. Trying to clean up a family members computer and they are repeatedly getting Avast notifications for 80000000.@ (800000cb.@ according to MBAM).

I ran MalwareBytes and it found a number of problems that it was able to remove however one rootkit issue (800000cb.@) still remains. Attached are the two MBAM log files. The first MBAM log on 07/10/12 was the original scan and the 07/11 MBAM log is what happens after any subsequent attempt.

I’m running OTL now and I will post the logs as soon as it is complete.

Attached is the OTL log.

And here is the aswMBR log.

Thank you so much!

I performed the steps as requested and the log files are attached.

So far everything looks good. I’ll update again if I see any new alerts but it looks clean.

Thank you again for your time! Very much appreciated!

Could you now update Malwarebytes and run a quick scan… Then let me know of any remaining problems
