Hi! I first connected my laptop (OS: Windows 7) in my previous apartment and it saved that network as “Network”. Now I moved into a new apartment and when I connect my laptop to internet it says “Network 2” (as seen on the picture). How can I safely delete the Network 2 so that when I would connect here (in my new home) it would say Network instead of Network 2? It’s a minor thing, but I would like to change it if it’s possible. Thank you for your help in advance!
I think it’s only the adapter name. You need to open the Network adapters in Windows and rename it.

I am only able to rename the “Local Area Connection” field. I would like to rename the “Network 2” field.
See if the following helps:

To delete Network connections:
Network and Sharing center → “customize” (on the right side of the connection) → on the “set network location” dialog, the lower section of the window says “Merge or delete network locations”.
That did it! Thank you guys!
