Hi.
In the Business hub I’ve set “Disable network management from this console”, so the final user(s) can modify setting for their networks.
I, as user in my local Avast Business Security instance, am not able anyway to set a network as “owned by me”: the “Monitor this network” option is greyed out and it cannot be changed.
My question is: How/where can I set my ownership on a (private) network?
Thanks in advance for any hints!
I know this post is rather dated but just in case someone else needs help I will make a suggestion. We use Avast Cloudcare so this may not apply directly. My first place to look would be to see what policy the device is set to use. Then change the settings on that policy. It appears that your device is set to not allow client changes. If you really want to allow client changes, you will need to change the policy to allow it.
Thanks, StratTech.
I’m already in touch with Avast Support, since I’ve done all the needed steps, but I’m still unable to set the ownership of networks I actually own (Home and business networks).
If/when a solution will be found by Avast Suport, then I’ll post it here.
