AOS&P fails to block adds on 7 sites marked for blocking.
Returns incorect result that user wants to keep personalised adds from the 7 sites, which is opposite from what is asked for.
I have tried this repeatedly and get the same result, just shows greyed tickboxes for the 7 sites.
See attachment.
The same here, but the result is that it does not accept any place and they are all marked.
Tried in Firefox, Edge and Chrome, the same result, because it does not get anything and I have the screen attached again.
@miguelgrado.
Question: Do you use the UBlock Origin browser add-on as well as AOS&P ?
Whilst a “Opt out now” for all listed sites, I have seen windows indicating access to the advertisment websites as blocked by UBlock Origin.
I wondered if you had seen that also?
I have disabled the additional blockers and now it has worked perfectly. Thank you
And will there be any option if you want to receive personalized ads from blocked sites again?
a problem . in firefox when you reopen it, all advertisers are back again without deactivating
Hi,
Avast Online Security & Privacy is not an ad blocker. It prevents third parties from tracking your online behaviour. https://support.avast.com/en-us/article/AOSP-FAQ/#idt_060
So why is there a setting “Opt out from these Advertisers”. (Note I have changed the title of my OP).
I find that very confusing and misleading.

To clarify:
I am seeing the “Opt out now” blue button and blue ticked advertiser check boxes all the time, even after I have clicked on it and gone through a Opt out cycle.
Should the check boxes change colour if Opt out is successfull?
Otherwise there seems no feedback that the Opt out’s have been applied. Hence you just go round in circles hitting “Opt out now”, seeing no result.
The same thing happens to me in Firefox, when I restart it the boxes are back as if I had not done anything. In Chrome and Edge, advertiser exclusions work
