New Avast keeps trying to open IE

Hello all. I have a subscription to the paid version of AVAST.

About a month ago I started getting pop ups several times a day.
They say “A website wants to open web content using this program on the computer”
The file is IE Webrep loader, an Avast product.

It doesn’t matter if I click Allow or Do not Allow it keeps happening daily.
I do not use IE at all.

What is Avast trying to do in the back ground? Why does Avast keep trying to open IE? I assume I can disable this WebRep service but it sounds like I may want that service. Not sure what I should do long term so I have not yet clicked the don’t show me the warning for this program again box.
What do I really loose if I disable Web Report service if i am not an IE user?

Avast Internet Security - Paid subscription.
Version 18.5.2342 (build 18.5.3931.338)
Win 7 64 bit. All current service packs and updates.
No other security related software other than Malware bytes, which is NOT in the active protection mode.
Been using Avast for years, no previous AV software
