is there way to get avast to only have pop up IF it blocks virus/malware/unsecure connection?
I getting tired of seeing this Pop for none related events (your ip is exposed, you have junk files ,etc) alot people would consider these pop up scare tactics.
Most computer I reinstall windows on these days are just use MS Defender, these pop among other thing i slowly stoped installing avast on new windows installs
They are correct (not just scare tactics), these do present a risk (it is your choice what risk you accept or tack action on), if you have avast free these are the cost of free. If you have a paid version of avast you can disable these in the settings.
I just smile when I see these as essentially I know my IP, etc is visible, do I care not really I’m not doing anything illegal or dangerous and I still have avast to protect me, Web Shield, WiFi Inspector and File System (behaviour shield, etc.) as a fallback.
The Firewall Question message box that asks a user to allow or deny a computer outgoing request, does not completely show the IP address. The message box cannot be resized to show the additional line of information, nor can it be scrolled lower to be able to see all of the important information needed to make an intelligent choice.
Look at the attached picture of the message box. The entire second line of the Remote Address is cut in half horizontally.
Avast, please fix this issue. Is there another place in the paid Premium Security software where I can see the entire outgoing address?

The latest versions of Avast seem to me to be a bit too aggressive in terms of CPU usage. If the PC is on, but no processes related to installed applications are running, Avast starts scanning. This is correct, but not to the point where the CPU temperature rises noticeably, and consequently, the fan speed is increased to keep it at acceptable values.
I purchased a friend of 10 Avast Premium licenses. It would be my question to deactivate one of the licenses on a machine, such as Windows reinstallation. Because if I’m reinstalled you take it as I would use a new license again from 10.
Hi,
for about 6 months I have been receiving persistent popup messages from avast asking me to upgrade, every time I start my pc, despite having disabled all the options relating to promotions and offers. I wonder why avast does this intense spam even though I have purchased a regular license of Avast Premium Security (volume licensing). If avast continues with this “policy” I will be forced not to renew the subscription and switch to an alternative solution.
