The description of the new logo is a bit of an abstract stretch, but I like it. It resembles shape of letter “A” and it looks modern and interesting, much more than weird “a” in the current (old) logo of amoeba. I like the amoeba, don’t like the “a” letter in it.
Sorry but previous logo was superior to this and this is really awful. I dont uderstand why you change logo only somewhere. For example wsc_proxy.exe has old logo and also in my Win 7 Action center shows Avast with old logo. Also wasting time making new logo while there are tons of bugs is what i dont understand. Same as Win 10 from Microsoft they change colors and icons but about bugs no one care. Strange, you just need one number higher version because you must release new version each month for no reason.
It isn’t one number higher, but an increment 0.1 and not 1 (a whole ordinal, usually a major update).
Most AVs do this releasing minor changes/updates/bug fixes on a reasonably frequent basis or people may think they are dormant. Given all of the things you have said about Avast in the past I’m surprised you are still using it
