Hi everyone,

new beta version 19.3.2366 (build 19.3.4231) is released.

What was fixed

  • AV installed in passive mode on W10 if OS was in Russian localization
  • “White UI” issue

Smooth update on both Win 10 OS via Beta channel.

Edit: The GUI response does appear to be snappier/quicker to open.

Sadly not fixed yet,the ui open like in my last screenshot but avast hang there with the circle in the background

I have not encountered the WHITE SCREEN as yet in this beta.
Have you provided logs that Avast (Petr) asked for?

So far, the new beta is running smooth here.
Note, seems I’m back on the old smart-scan now.

Hi,

Is this new beta protected against the The Astaroth Trojan? this trojan This version injects a malicious module into one of Avast’s processes. The payload files are masqueraded as JPEGs, GIFs, and extensionless files, and contain the Astaroth Trojan modules. can you clear me on this please. I´m very worried about this one.

What is this new element (Advanced Issues) in the Smart Scan ?

Hopefully not the same as the old Sensitive Data and can this element of the Smart Scan be deselected ?
I get the impression this is going to offer various Avast paid Components, trusting sort aren’t I (not) ;D

Interesting UI showing, which version?
I only have the malware and Advanced Threats showing in my UI (.342)
