Please note that in order to get it, you need to uninstall the current one (automatic migration is not supported at the moment).

Just few additional notes:

  • icarus version is not updated (plan is to release icarus version later this week)

Thanks Karel, awaiting the Icarus version…

As of this morning, I again can’t open the UI and can’t access any of the function
available via the Avast tray icon.
I’ve tried a repair and reboot without success. (frustrating)

Hello, Icarus version of latest 21.8 build is now released. It includes new logo also - except the setup part. Setup part will be ready later (probably next week).

How come this beta is still going and not 21.9.xxxx ?

Hi Dave, it was a delayed release for Icarus BC (see Reply #1 from Karel).

It was just strange seeing a beta 21.8 (even for Icarus) I would have thought that would have stepped on to 21.9.xxxx beta.
