“The Avast Antivirus service did not shut down properly after receiving a preshutdown control.”

I didn’t think I’d see a fix in 6062 since it’s too soon from when I sent the previous dump. For what it’s worth, I did another dump from 6062. Dump file ID: 01G4T Best Regards,-Tom

Are the dumps I’ve sent getting to the right folks? I’m getting email from what appears to be front line support staff that basically says “there’s no description of the problem”. I’ve sent them pointers to this and the 6060 forum, but they appear to ignore it. -Tom

Hi, if you send the package, it is delivered to customer support. I am in touch with DEVs - currectly we do not have a solution yet. We did some changes in 23.4 - timeout for Avast service shutdown was increased from 10 seconds to 3 minutes - this is the reason why you now see some difference during PC shutdown. We already have all diagnostic data (also from other customers) to be able to analyze and hopefully fix the issue.
