This is the exact reason I stopped beta testing many months ago. There was one incident where a changelog was included, but the most important feature of the beta was omitted. Hence, the item was overlooked. 
I am amazed there has been no reply from Avast in response to posts by Beta testers asking for changelog information.
What are Beta testers then expected to test or focus on, if no details of what has changed is published.
It is also a concern that Avast are not reading replies to this thread, or are not concerned about Beta testing.
This then impacts on product Quality and Reliability. Very Concerning IMO.
where are change logs? where are all details? does it secret ?
is it any secret changes for collecting user data in this beta version?
