The New Beta version of the Avast Driver Updater product is now available (25.11.6221)!
What’s new in Avast Driver Updater product?
- More reliable updates for your device - After each driver update, we now automatically check your device and roll back to the previous driver if something looks wrong. We also block known-problem drivers from our catalog, preventing bad updates before they reach you.
- 140 million drivers — Our database is continuously expanding. Driver Updater is currently backed up with more than 140 million drivers to help keep your PC running at peak performance.
Simplified privacy settings - We’ve updated the Privacy section to make it easier to manage your preferences. Instead of four separate options, you’ll now see two clear choices—one for helping improve our products, and another for getting personalized discounts. Your previous selections will carry over, so there’s no need to update anything unless you want to make changes. - Versioning alignment with the AntiVirus product.
- Fixed — We have made some under-the-hood improvements and fixed a few bugs to keep Avast / AVG / Norton Driver Updater running smoothly.
How can you help?
- If you already have a Beta version installed you should get an update automatically (update checks for a new version every 12 hours) if you don’t have it yet proceed with the next step to install it.
- If you don’t want to wait for the automatic update you can navigate into Settings - Update Driver Updater section and click on Update now button.
- Download the Beta version: https://honzik.avcdn.net/setup/avast-du/beta/avast_driver_updater_online_setup.exe.
- Execute the installation package and go through the wizard to install the product.
- The product shall guide you or you can freely navigate through it and try it on your own to see how it works.
- Please try as much features as you can to see how they work and check whether there are any bugs or unexpected behavior.
- If you find any bugs during testing, please create a new thread in this forum section.
- Please provide us also with feedback about what you like most and what you would change.
